Course Description
This is an Ofqual approved course to comply with the First Aid at Work regulations for the First Aider in the workplace. Your First Aider at Work (FAW) can attend the 2 day requalification course up to 3 months before or 28 days after their current certificate expires. The new certificate will be valid from when the old one runs out. If the certificate expires by more than 28 days the First Aider must attend the full 3 day initial course
Course Content:
The course will revisit all subjects taught in the initial 3 day FAAW course.
Course Requirements
Candidates must have completed a 3 day FAAW course with no longer than 3 months to expiry or no longer than 28 days after expiry.
Course Duration
The requirement is 12 contact hours usually conducted over a minimum of 2 days (although can be tailored to the client as long as each session is at least 2 hours contact time). FULL ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED.
Course Costs
£115 per delegate: We are only able to offer this to groups of 12 students and would need a suitable size room of which we would need to come and assess prior to booking. Alternatively, an external facility can be hired at an extra charge which is payable in advance and at the time of booking. This is due to us being an onsite training provider.
Certification
The certificate is valid for 3 years and then you can attend a 2 day requalification as long as your certificate is no more than 30 days past its expiry. The HSE recommend that all first aiders complete an annual first aid refresher course.
